My friend and her boyfriend are going to WDW in April. I have been telling her what she should do while they are there. I told her that if she wanted to embarass her boyfriend (we'll call him L), she could go to the Main Street barbershop and have him get pixie dust. She loved that idea. We refer to it as Operation Embarass L. (L is totally clueless on the whole thing and is totally confused when we talk about "it" at lunch :rotfl2: ). I showed her a couple pictures of people with the pixie dust. There was one that had a Mickey at the back of the head. We decided, after making him turn around so we could see the back of his head, which made him even more confused, that that wouldn't look good. Can you get it without the Mickey? Also, we are trying to decide what color to get for him. Can someone tell me what the choices of colors are? Can you get multiple colors, like rainbow or half one color and half the other? Thanks in advance for making Operation Embarass L a HUGE success. :jumping1:

At the MK barbershop, you can be pixie dusted. Basically, when you get a hair cut, they put colored hair gel in your hair. Then they sprinkly "pixie dust" in your hair. The pixie dust is a mix of sparkles and Mickey shaped confetti. If you do a search on the boards for the barber shop, then you can see some cute pictures of people with it. You can also go and just get the pixie dust (colored gel and sparkles) without the hair cut for $5 I think it is.

I need more info on this. HELP!!!!!!! My friend is really excited about this and in order for it to work out, I need your help. :worship:

If she can't get multiple colors, then she's gonna get him hot pink. :rotfl2:

I don't understand how she's going to get him to do this without him knowing it's happening. They'll have to stand in line at the barbershop, as there's usually a wait, and then he'll be called for his turn, he'll sit in the chair, and the barbers will ask him what he wants done. Don't you think that at some point during this process, he might wonder what's going on? He's going to see other people -- mostly kids -- coming out of the barbershop with pixie dust. Is he likely to just sit quietly while this happens? I know I wouldn't. By the time I'd been waiting in line at the barbershop for 15 mins, I'd be wondering what's going on, and I sure wouldn't just sit in the barber's chair until someone told me what was going to happen next.

:earsboy:

Take him to MGM's Prime Time Cafe. I hear that the staff totally embarasses you! Just let "L" believe it is a down-home cafe to just grab a fast bite to eat. This fast bite will seem like an eternity to him if the staff really goes all out! ;)

WDSearcher: He is totally game for it. He trusts her and knows that she won't do anything permanent...maybe. He definitly won't find out until they get to the barbershop. Thanks for bringing that up though. We'll have to come up with some sort of fan of what to say.

disneyaggie: That is a great idea! I will definitly tell them to go there. The thing is that they are going with the school, so I'm not sure what they are doing meal wise. They would love 50's Prime Time though.

What about taking him to the Whispering Canyon and telling him to ask for ketchup? :rotfl:

Ooohhh -- for those of us who don't know . . . what happens when you ask for ketchup?

Martha7: I have never been, but it does sound like fun to go to Whispering Canyon. Again, they are goin g with the school. They won't be allowed to leave the park without the whole group. Therefore, they probably won't be able to go unless the teacher has it in her plans/itinerary. But thanks for the idea. That will surely embarass them.

disneyaggie: Again, I haven't been there, but from what I've heard, they bring just about every ketchup bottle in the restaurant over to your table, so you have 10-20 bottles on your table. :rotfl2:

Now there's one way to not attract a whole lot of attention to yourself, huh? :rotfl: Thanks! :flower:

Oh, sorry, Simba928, I didn't catch that it's a school trip. Since it sounds like they'll be hanging out together, she could attract attention to herself, and that would might him. We're going in a few weeks, and my 17-yr-old saw the t-shirts I had laid out to bring. One of them has "Bambi Couture" on the front in pink lettering, and he said, "Mom, you're not planning to wear that are you?" Anytime I really need to embarass my ds's, I just start dancing in public. Works every time! Of course, it helps to be middle-aged to really pull this off! ;)

Translation: "that would might him" = that might embarass him. Sorry, I really need to get stronger glasses...

If she started dancing, he would either just laugh or join in. It wouldn't phase him at all. Maybe if she went out during the parade and started dancing. You know how they pull all the little kids (like 5 and younger), during the parade. She would be like 3 times their age. But even then, he might just go out with her. LOL!!

Martha7: They definitly are interesting people

Martha 7 and Disneyaggie: thanks so much for taking the time to post so many times on here. More ideas for huge embarassment for L are always welcome!! :jumping1:
