Yeah, when I was on trying to book my Maiden Voyage staterooms on Platinum 25+ Booking Day, I wanted 1 Cat. 3B (Concierge Ocean View) and 1 Cat. 3A (Concierge Family Verandah) and there were NO Concierge OV and only 1 Concierge Family Verandah available. The lady I was working with from DCL then did a little something and a second Concierge Family Verandah opened up, but I ultimately decided not to book those two concierge staterooms and went with two 4Es instead. The two 4Es were roughly the same price as one concierge family verandah and have the extended balconies, so SCORE for us!

The only thing I will say is that the room has probably only been put aside at this point. They have until the end of the day to pay or it gets cancelled. It will be interesting to see how or if the availability changes tomorrow

If you are booking on a Platinum day, a Platinum (with the right number of cruises sailed) has to be in each room. So no, if you are Platinum, you can't book a room for a Gold if there won't also be a Platinum person in the room with the Gold.
