Opening Crowds at AK - EMH vs Regular Opening Time?

We haven't done any EMH since 2005 preferring to hit an non-EMH park at ropedrop on the theory that an EMH park will be extra crowded, also, sleep. We'll be in WDW from 10/16 through 10/25 and I'm curious to know if the AK crowds in the first hour or so differ depending on whether it's a regular opening time or an EMH opening. Any info offered will be appreciated.

Hey Bill!!

The crowds would be less for the early morning, then be more crowded than a non emh park later on. I also, like you, avoid emh parks. I prefer lower crowds as well as taking a vacation from rushing around to meet early morning schedules.

Thanks, Dan, we'll give EMH at AK a shot next time. We'll be hopping to WS for F&W before AK gets too crazy.
