Opening Cermony at Magic Kingdom

The opening ceremony is very cool... If you are a Disney fan it will give you gossebumps... (my opinion of course).
It begins about 8:50am and is presented on NON-magic mornings. The Mayor of Main Street (or one of the Citizens of Main Street) will come out onto the Train Station platform and welcome you to the Magic Kingdom. Then there will be dancers that come out and a really catchy song is played (you will be signing it all day
)... then the Steam Train comes into the station full of characters and the "first family" (picked at random). Mickey and the first family will join the mayor (or whoever) and they will start the countdown to open the park. They will countdown and then there will be streamers and more dancing and singing as the entrance is opened. I have seen it a million times (and have worked it as the engineer on the steam train) and I still get gossebumps seeing it. It defiently is something I would get up early for
