Open thank you letter

Hello DISers!

I just want to thank the regulars on this board for all of your advice, stories, and patience. I have been hanging around these boards for a couple of years now (a lot more in the past several months)and I have watched the same questions get asked every week. You guys give answers with patience and humor and a truly good-natured attitude. You truly help people like me (the "inexperienced Orlando visitor") plan a better vacation. You convinced me that the cost of a deluxe is worth it. You recommended a great driver to get me from Disney to US (macraven!). you got me a great deal on the star card (I bought it in the summer before the price went up). You told me that it is faster to walk to the park rather than take the boat and I didn't want to believe you. You told me so many other things that helped make my time in US the greatest it could be. I felt safe in offering my experiences, as limited as they might be, to others looking for the same advice.

As great as you guys are, I am going to sign off of these boards for awhile. I do not think I will be back to the Orlando area until 2019. If I keep reading these boards on a regular basic, i am only going to obsess and dream about going back. My thoughts will be filled with how I can manage to get back before then; It won't be healthy for me.

So..... again thank you for the hours upon hours of entertainment!! I hope some of you are still around when I return to these boards in about 3 years.

Glad you found all the advice useful. I didn't used to venture off the uk boards but it it a helpful group on here.

Thank guys! I know these boards are additive. That is why I am deleting my bookmarks, hoping I will too lazy to search for them! LOL You guys are a great group. The US boards are a lot more laid back than some of the others here on the dis. *cough* (although, really everyone on the Dis has been great!)

Owlpost, I really want to come back before 2019, but unless I win the lottery or someone offers to pay for the trip, i'm not counting on it. Have a happy new year everyone! See ya in a few years!
