Open seasonally??

We will be going the end of Aug. I was just checking the Disney site for operational updates in Epcot. They say Wonders of Life, Body Wars, and Making of Me are open seasonally. What does this mean?

I'm not sure what it means for this year but we were there the last week of August last year and the Wonders of Life pavilion was closed. I wouldn't hold my breath that it'll be open.

The last time I saw the pavillion open was last December. Even though it was open, Body Wars and Cranium Command were not open.

What are the chances they will open it since Living Seas will be closed??

Having two big pavilions shut down really stinks.

According to some CMs I've talked with, "open seasonally" means that MetLife pulled out as a sponsor for Wonders of Life and Disney doesn't want to put money into keeping it operational without a sponsor

I know someone that just got back a couple days ago and yes they said it was closed. I was there 2 years ago last week of August and it was open, but I actually put that on my "must skip" list for this year. I wished I had spent less time there and more time in World Showcase but that is JMO.

The Living Seas is going to be closed for a good while. It is going through rehab LOL. They are updating it some, the resturaunt will still be open, but not the attraction it self. This bums me out too, becuase I am going there on Aug. 21 and was looking forward to that attraction. Oh well. I am still sure that my visit will be great!

With the opening of Mission: Space and Soarin', there is less pressure to have a less popular pavilion like the Wonders of Life open during the off-season, while the Living Seas is going through rehab. I won't be expecting it to be open during our trip this Winter.
