This may make you smile! We have had terrible storms the last few days and I have been without power for a few days now. No lights, no heat (It got so cold in the house, you could see your breath!), no computer and no VMK! ARG! Withdrawl big time. We finally have power again. For how long, I don't know. Maybe we will have it until the next big storm hits. In the mean time, I am standing at the set of glass doors tapping my fingers nervously. OPEN !OPEN ! OPEN !

Thanks very much. Yeah, so far we are ok. Heavy stuff blew around or to our neighbors house. Our fence fell down as many in the neighborhood have. Huge old trees either fell over or were just uprooted all around us. Hurricane winds and rain in California. Never have I experienced that before in this area and I have lived here all my life! Go figure.

Oh, no! A huge ice storm knocked our power out for a week last month. Between having a fireplace and a propane grill, we were pretty comfortable, but the VMK withdrawals were a bear.

Glad you're power is back on, and I hope all is well!

Redshoe, so glad you are ok. Good idea to be prepared. I saw one neighbor with a generator outside. Oh How I wished we had one! That and a fireplace to keep warm. So glad the heat is on. Really enjoying it right now. I will be more prepared next year, that's for sure.

LOL!! Our entire neighborhood was dark, except for one house across the street and down the block that had a generator. We all swore they had every single light in the house on to taunt us. See if THEY get invited to any more barbecues!

LOL That Is Great We Were Lucky That Our Relitive Got Us One A Day Before Our Power Went Out For A Week So I Was On VMK While Most Of The City Was Dark.

Yea the storms are horrible here... We were some of the lucky people who only had our electricity out for less than an hour! There was lots of power surges all day, but i was able to get on VMK! I hope your alright paloma!

ouch.is and i thought i had it bad not being to go on VMK for six hours a day.
