I took down all the ornaments. Now I have a naked tree! Well, except it has some built in pine cones and lights.

I smiled at hubby and said, I took down the ormanents! He said OK, and didnt move....

Beyond my powers past this, I did my duty!

Moo we did see the sun this morning but now yes it is cloudy. Suppose to get 5cms of snow tonight.

It took a long time to get that ticker in my siggy. I should have wrote "is" in DTD How do you get the since in there? do I have to go change to since? Or will the ticker do that when it passes the day......I went back to her post where she said she would be.....It is Riley"s birthday today.

I think I will watch the Oscars, although I never watch movies, so I am clueless.
I tried watching Amazing Race once, and it left me exhausted just watching it, so I gave that up. Maybe I'll try again.... or switch back and forth, or maybe none of the above...... at least I don't have to worry about taking the tree down

Oh my heavens, Marita!! We took our tree down today too!! You're reading my mind!! Actually I took the decorations off of it last weekend. But DH didn't take it down until today. I'm so glad it's finally down. It always looks so tacky after the holidays are over.

Tonight I'm wishing that this was a 3-day weekend, though because I've just mostly been relaxing this weekend and didn't get much done around my house.

Hope you've been doing great lately. I see there has been a regular tag fest on some of the CB threads this weekend. Wish the Tag Fairy would visit us!!!

I still have the ring in my rug where the Christmas tree sat but that is it....

I haven't really seen any movies in awhile either so I am lost on that front too Marita. I do like to see what people are wearing though.

Hubby would love to go on Amazing Race. Me no way. I am a big chicken and really hate heights and any gross food they would make you eat. But I do like to watch.

Hi Bonnie, Nice to see you!!!!!!!!! We are tree twins!!!!!!! Actually, I doubted hubby would put it away today, but he did once I told him I took the ornaments off, 30 minutes later, and without nagging.
Actually, nagging is not effective on him, so I don't even try.

My son stopped over after work today, and we are having lovely conversations, such as " I should have named you Djimom" and why aren't you an actor an take me to the red carpet, and he says "it's all your fault, you should have taken me to acting lessons at 2, dancing at 4, commercials at 6, and I could have been strung out on heroin at 12".

I love my son!!!

I was going to heat some fried chicken for him tonight. I go to the kitchen, and come back after a few minutes and say:

"I have 2 legs and 2 breasts"
