My daughter and I will be coming home in the Fall. She has asked for only one thing... to eat at The Plaza so she can have the fried green tomato sandwich. It is no longer on the menu. Does anyone know if there might be another one on property?

Crockett's Tavern at Fort Wilderness has one. The only other thing I can think of is that Homecomin' has a fried green tomato appetizer (not a sandwich though). I've not tried either (not a fan of tomatoes in general), so I can't speak to the quality.

I don’t know if there is any other place that has it.

You are amazing!! Looks like we will be taking a trip to Fort Wilderness, I looked at the menu!!

The fried-green-tomato appetizer at Art Smith's Homecomin is quite delicious, BTW - it's not a sandwich, but it's a high quality tomato, nicely breaded and fried, with a spicy Cajun ham and remoulade drizzled on top.

I’m mad that FGT sandwich is gone from the Plaza. They also used to have one at Rosie’s in DHS that was amazing but now also gone. I may have to head to Fort Wilderness as well! So glad you asked this question!

I'll let her know, and she can decide. If I were betting, though, I'd put my money on the sandwich😁

The Plaza's FGT was so good, and we aren't even vegetarians! We'll be there in October, and I'll let you know how it is.
