To the person at the grocery store that told me to go ahead of them because I only had 2 items. Thank you! :)

And to the person driving today on XYZ road, why did you go around me, and get back in my lane just to make an immediate turn? All the room in the world, but yet? Okay.

Feel free to contribute. :)

You are lucky. I have had the stomach flu. My DH and the kids were coming home the other night and stopped to get me some popcicles to try. He went to the Walmart by our house, where we never go (because of this type of stuff.) There was no express lanes open and just 2 registers open. My DH had just the popcicles. He asked the lady in front of him with 2 carts full if he could go in front of her, he had $2 in his hand and the popcicles, he said he wanted to get them home to his sick wife. She said no. Then she told him they were going to be melted before he got though the line. :confused3

I always let people go in front of me in those situations, glad someone did for you. I am still shocked (and yet not shocked) that someone would say that???

I do too.

I'm shocked someone would say, "No.", and rub it in like that. Geesh.

Hope everyone is better. We have been battling a bug for a month now. It's making the rounds in our house too.

I always let people with just a couple of items go ahead of me at the grocery store. If I have a huge order with tons of coupons, I even sometimes let people with a smaller order go ahead of me depending on how much time I have.
I like when others do the same. Not expected, just nice.
But the Walmart lady? Sheesh!

You just don't know why people do certain things on the road either. The other day, I was at a light on a local road, not all that busy. A Hummer was trying to turn onto the road I was on. Ok, sorry, I didn't leave a space for him to turn into ahead of me, I just wasn't paying attention. BUT there was no one behind me. :) So instead, he crossed the road, whaled on the horn and butted his way in between me and the car in front of me to make a point. My car is old and instead of a strong horn, I have a little "toot", it sounds like a golf cart. So I "tooted" him, lol and he got sooo angry, he hopped out of his car and banged on my window! I was so scared, but I smiled and gave him a thumbs up...for real, not the other finger I really wanted to. :thumbsup2 All in little ol' hometown Ohio.

There are some real looney tunes out there. Be careful.

I have a friend that had a similar experience. While her DH were driving this guy got mad about something and he spit on the car! With the DH driving! How crazy is that? To get so worked up that you would spit on someone's car? Crazy with a capital "C".

I might glance at someone I think it doing something weird, but I act oblivious. I would've freaked out if someone was banging on my window though. I think I would've laid on the horn and drove to the nearest police station. What a fruitcake!
