DH and I are thinking of opening a new credit card to get bonus points/other incentives for a DVC direct purchase. The best offers we've looked into are the Chase Business Ink Preferred which has a $95 annual fee and an offer for $1000 (80,000 points) in travel rewards through Chase Ultimate Rewards system. The other offer is the Disney Premier Visa which has a $45 annual fee (no annual fee for first year) and an offer for $200 statement credit plus 2% back in Reward Dollars. We will be getting approximately $720 back from the DVC purchase with the Disney Card. The DVC purchase on the Disney card will also be eligible for 6 months of 0% APR financing.
We're leaning towards the Chase Business Ink care because we'll be getting more back in reward dollars, but we're also planning on going to WDW more often after becoming DVC members so a Disney Visa might be worth it for the rewards in future payments for DVC membership dues/theme park tickets/etc. We most likely wouldn't charge dining on the Disney card because we get 3% cash back on dining through another credit card (unless Disney Visa has a better promo).
For those of you with Disney Visa cards, what made you choose that credit card versus others?
Lastly, what's the difference between Disney "Dream Rewards Dollars" and "Reward Dollars"? I've been reading other forum posts about "Dream Rewards Dollars", but my Disney credit card offer only mentions "Reward Dollars".
Thanks!
