Well, the actual quote (on the front page) from the Navigator says:No, it means that I picked up some at Castway Cay. By sea shells I thought they meant the big ones or the alive ones.Not the very small ones like the picture posted here.

Its easy to miss in the navigator, and also on the OP tbh a child's mistake here,

Suppose I get told off for all the sand in my trunks and shoes!
I actually saw that notice AFTER we came back and figured that since they checked our bags before getting back in the ship and said nothing, I had not picked up the "forbidden stuff".
Now I know. Won't happen again.
