When I made our ADR's, I didn't realize that I picked breakfast at H&V at 8:30am on the day we switch resorts! Now, I have to figure out what the best way to get from Pop Century to OKW (to check in and get our DDP activated!) and then get to the Studios by 8ish. We will have a car. I am tossing around two scenarios:
1) Send DH (or myself, if he doesn't want to go) to OKW via car at the crack of dawn. Then he can check in and get our DDP activated and drive to the Studios. I will take the bus from Pop Century to the Studios with the DD's. .......or.......
2) Get everyone up, hop in the car and drive to OKW, check in, leave the car at OKW and everyone take the bus to the Studios. FWIW, we plan on returning to OKW for nap time by 4....or sooner if our room is ready. So should we just take the car from OKW anyways?

What time do we need to be on the bus to get to H&V on time? (From Pop and/or OKW) Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated! TIA!

Since you'll have a car, I would have everything packed up, ready to go, the night before. Wake up, clean up, get dressed, drive over to OKW, get checked in and then head to MGM. You should plan on being at the OKW bus stop by 7:45....just in case you missed the bus, and have to hang around waiting for the next one...could take up to 20 mins. Or...just take the car to MGM, depending on what time it is. You will need to be at the gates of MGM by 8:15 in order to get in, and then walk to the restaurant.

Thanks! That sounds like the best idea. We are arriving at Pop around 6pm friday so we aren't going to unpack too much. We're moving to a 1BR at OKW on Sunday so I think we'll leave most of our stuff packed up. What is the approximate drive time from Pop to OKW? Is the route clearly marked? I wouldn't want to get lost! Thanks!

Oh, don't ask me!!! I got from POP to route 4 and on to Tampa and was really proud of myself. I have no idea how to get from point A to point B in WDW. I would head to DTD and take a right past SSR...OKW should be down there apiece.

To get to OKW from POP:

At the main entrance to Pop, turn right. At the next traffic light, turn right again. This puts you on Buena Vista Drive. You will pass CBR, and then a traffic light, and an overpass. At the traffic light just past the overpass, you will turn left on to Bonnet Creek Parkway. You will pass one traffic light. At the second traffic light, turn right on Disney Vacation Club Way. OKW will be on the right, less than a quarter mile. It's kind of hard to see the sign, so drive slowly so you don't miss it!

We've switched from POP to OKW ...... it's very close (~ 5 minute drive).
