Oops I did it again! WHY MUST I YOYO!!!

Just an additional note............

I have the same first grade class for the entire next week.

They crack me up!! At 11am they are asking me if it is time to go home.........

I stories to tell - they are such babies (considering they were kindergarten last year)......

I am exhausted by the end of the day.

Have a Disney Day!!::MickeyMo

Hi Chrismiss- Are you on WW? That is the basic plan that I follow-although I haven't been following any plan for a couple of weeks. I think it is a great system. I lost 14 pounds in around 10 weeks. But then I got lazy and I haven't made any progress for 2 months. I am going back to WW starting tomorrow and try and get another 10 pounds off by my cruise/Disney trip in December.
Oh- another good thing happened last week- I got the $55 per night rate on ASMovies for my Dec. trip. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: Considering my screen name- you know this is a big deal for me. Very exciting.
Today I am having a little back-to-school swimming party for DD and DS- They are each having 4 friends for swimming and a cookout.
Have a peaceful Sunday, everyone-
Mary

Hi Mary:wave:

I am doing the WW Online Flex Point Plan. Scared to try the Core plan because one of my biggest issues is portion control and emotional eating.

WOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOO:tongue:  on the $55 rate for ASM!! I get very excited when I get a deal. We were in WDW last month staying at the Boardwalk Villas. Needed a different location for one night. Last March got talked into Poly for $360.00 YIKES:eek:  by the time we left for vacation I had reduced it to $140 at Saratoga Springs in a studio - I was very EXCITED....... I know the feeling.

Enjoy the swim party and I am off to see the Mouse (well no not really The Disney Store is driven by Princesses and Power Rangers these days:( :( ). Working all day.

Have a Disney Day!!::MickeyMo

Hi Mary,

I am so relieved to hear that your neighbor is gone. You must be sleeping better at night.::yes:: I am glad to hear that you had a fabulous time at the beach. Congrats on getting the code for AS. I have been hanging out on the Budget Boards a lot lately. Have a great day.
Beth

Thanks Beth- It's funny you should use the expression "sleeping better at night" because I had the best nights sleep I can remember last night. I had been sleeping quite fitfully since he moved in. I would wake from the slightest noise -it was as if was sleeping with one eye open, as they say. I would always have trouble falling back to sleep. I do feel as though things are returning to normal here and it is nice.

First day of school for Bridget and Joey. Boy, were they excited. They insisted on going to the bus stop 20 minutes early! This is Joey's 1st day of school on his ADHD meds. (He started them on Thursday) As some of you may remember- both Bridget and Joey have ADHD- Bridget is strictly inattentive and Joey is Hyper/Impulsive with an above average attention span. He is a very atypical ADHD kid. I am nervous that the meds may not be the answer for him .

Seems like a good day to re-commit. I have had more than a few false starts. My goal for this week is get serious about counting points - 22 each day. Next week I'll het the treadie.

The kids will be home in 1/2 hour. I am so excited to hear about their day. I do so hope they each have a great year.

Bye all-
Mary:sunny:

PS: Chrissmas- I am doing WW flex points too. I am not a WW member I just got the info from these boards and a few other places. I really like the plan- how do you like it?

points yesterday: 26
Water- plenty
Excercise: nope (not planning on excercise till next week)

not great - not terrible

will get to journals today:D

Hi Mary,

I am glad to hear that your neighbor has moved out. ::yes:: That is great news!

Congratulations on getting the $55/night at ASMovies!:Pinkbounc We have been putting off reservations because of our financial situation, but if we do go to WDW in December, that's where we want to stay too. :teeth:

Have a great day Mary!

Thanks KLH-

I am struggling through these first days of getting back into the groove. It helps keep my mind off snacking and focussed on my goals to post here.

So far I am at 8 points for the day. That leaves me with 14 for dinner and snack. Dinner will be chicken with broccoli and salad. I should have points left for a yogurt.

The good news is that I weighed myself today and I am not nearly as off-track as I thought. I am 2 pounds up from June. It would be great if by the end of this week (Monday) I was back to my June weight. And then from there I could continue my pursuit to lose.

Bye- Mary

Hi Mary,

Considering the stress you had this summer, I think 2 pounds is awesome. I'm sending you :wizard: to help you get back into the groove of WW.
Beth

Thanks Beth- I need all the pixie dust I can get!

Oh no- 33 points yesterday. :( I am trying to stay around 23.

Well there go 10 flex points. I did have chicken and broccoli for dinner, no salad. But before bed ate cookies and pretzels... very bad.

plan for today- salad and egg beaters omelet for lunch. Dinner??? maybe Subway. Ooh, that sounds good. It's settled.

I will be very busy today. I have to work from home today- send out invoices... I also have to read up on some new technology in my industry. Then, when the kids get home from school (at 3:30) I have to pick up Thomas, take the kids to get (Bridget) Ice Skates, and (Joey) Cleats. Get dinner (Subway is right next to the sporting goods place- so that is good) Get Joey to soccer by 5:30. Get home at about 7:30- homework, baths/showers... Hopefully get the kids to bed by 9:00.

Oh- yesterday- the child molester's car was in its regular parking space for several hours- I was fretting like mad. Thankfully when DH got home, the other guy that lives there grabbed him and said- don't worry- he is just grabbing last of his things and cleaning his room- to get it ready for the new renter. EXHALE... whew- I was thinking for sure- he has re-negotiated a deal with the scummy opportunist landlord. I got all worked up for nothing.

I would highly recommend that everyone find their state's sex offender registry and check it every few months.

Hi Mary,

Whew!:faint: I bet that you are breathing a huge sigh of relief today. Thank God that that man was only coming back to pick up the rest of his things. ::yes::

I hope you find some time during this busy day to relax and take some quiet time for you. Have a great day Mary! You CAN do this!:cheer2:

Tracy:wave2:

Hi Mary,
Wow are you busy today, but yoy have a plan. I am positive you can make it through the day OP. I hope you can enjoy some quiet time today.

Beth

Hi Mary,:wave2:

Dropping by to say hi! I hope you have a wonderful day today!

Take care,
Tracy:wave2:

P.S. I saw your counter. Looks like you'll be doing the double-digit dance soon!:cool1: Woohoo!:jumping1:

Tracy- thanks for pointing that out- I hadn't been paying attention!!! 99 days to go!

Yesterday points were 28. Still higher than I want them to be but I am eating less than before so that is positve.

Remember 4 months ago when one of my goals was to ween Thomas from the breast? That still isn't done. I actually nurse him 3 times a day now. (Up from 2 times a day this summer)Anyway- I am supposed to eat 2 points for every nursing session. Target= 20 points plus 6 nursing points=26 total. So I am not that far off. But I really want to keep my points lower than that- Thomas drinks cow's milk and eats everything under the sun so he is not really dependant on me for the nutrients. But I think if I am lactating and not eating enough I will get really tired and depleted so I am cutting myself a break on the points.

It is a beautiful day here. It couldn't be prettier outside. I hope everyone is having a good OP day.

Mary:sunny:

Hi Mary,

You definately need to add those lactation points in. Even if Thomas isn't dependent on your milk for total nutrition, your body will still put all those nutrients into the milk. You need to remember to take care of the mom too. I nused Katie for 13 months, not necessarily by choice. Have a great afternoon.
Beth

Hi Mary

Glad to hear your stress has moved out :flower:

You seem to eat at night (which is one of my many problems). Is there an activity you can do to keep your hands and mind busy? That is why I post journals at night because if I don't have something to keep me busy I started thinking about all the yummy:tongue:  things to eat in my house.

Stay focused and you can do it::yes:: ::yes::

Have a Disney Day::MickeyMo

You got it Chrissmas- night is hard for me. A lot of the time my kids will have a snack before bed and I always want to get in on the act.

Thanks, Beth. I know you are right about the nursing thing. I am going to try to make healthy choices and no overeating. I will still count points and try to stay between 25-28.

I nursed my Joey for about 18 months- and now this baby is 19+1/2 months! He has a way of asking for nursing- he climbs up on my lap and puts his index finger to his lips and makes the SHHHH sound. I guess when I nurse him I go "Shhhh, shhhh" to soothe him. Like "hush, baby... shhhh" would ask for it by name, in acomplete setence no less- "Nurse me, Mom" he would say. You would think I was some sort of hippy the way I go around nursing these babies until they are practically potty trained.

Say a prayer for those poor Russians. I am heartsick about it.

Mary

Hi Mary,

I just wanted to pop in to wish you a good weekend. I too am sick about the incident in Russia. I hate when kids are hurt. Give yours an extra hug tonight.
Beth

Mary, Thomas and you will come to an agreement soon enough on when to stop nursing! Let nature run its course. ::yes::

I'm glad you're getting yourself back to a good WW point range. Sometimes just keeping track of points will help you to be more mindful of what you're eating.

Best wishes for a wonderful week! :sunny:
