I just got off the phone with a rep at airmiles. I was asking to redeem my airmiles for flight to toronto leaving winnipeg on march 31 and returning on Apr 7. The rep told me that due to high call volume, she would have to take down my info and have a travel agent call me back ( in 3 days).
I only waited 4 minutes on hold to get to the rep, AND we spent 6-7 minutes discussing why she was unable to help me. She was unclear of whether it was the high call volume at the exact moment I called, or if it was high call volume regarding the departure date.
I am going to try back this afternoon and start climbing the ladder if I have too.
Anyone else get driven crazy by silly stuff?
