Oogie Boogie Nightmare Bash Returning?

Curious if anyone has heard if Oogie Boogie's Nightmare Bash will be returning to the Wish for HOTHS?

It looked like fun. I am also not seeing a ton of info about what is offered on Halloween sailings beyond that Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle will return as the Sanderson Sisters. We are on one of the early HOTHS sailings this year and I am trying to plan

This was never HOTHS exclusive on the Wish and they have it on every sailing to my knowledge. I did a 4 night MerryTime cruise and they had the Oogie Boogie Nightmare Bash.

Weird. It was on our sailing on the Wish in May. It wasn't highly publicized, but it was mentioned during the afternoon announcement and was on the app. Maybe it's only on 4 nighters?

It sadly was. It was a fast sailing squeezed in for my DD between college and commitments. But luckily I have a 4 night in Sept so I should be able to experience it

We sailed in April 2023 on the wish and it was a 4 night, I think it was called the oogie boogie villain bash at that time. What a waste of time it was horrible, it was a dance party with villains on a screen. We are old and actually outlasted the younger people, most walked out after 5 minutes.

I have watched videos of this because it sounds like fun. But every single episode I watch has the place cleared out because the music wasn’t danceable and it’s just a room with few seats and ideal for dancing. Can’t someone tell them to get a different play list? I’m going in September and if they change the music I will look forward to it. If not, it just a pass.

It was originally a teen only event. It was so hard to get them into it, they'd leave immediately after seeing oogie boogie. (A couple of times the leadership would join us and go yeah it's just not the right audience) Personally I think the music is geared to young millennials. The issue with changing it is that it's not actually a playlist, it's a show cue so shoreside would have to make a new cue. (And it took them 7-8 months to stop making us do the show for the teens so it'll be awhile before it changes) BUT that being said that's exactly what those cards at the end of the cruise are for, so in suggestions make sure to put you think the music doesn't fit. Guests voices have more power.

If I can get my daughter (25) to go, I think we will put in comment down for it. I watch videos from the last year and seemed to be adult only. Still hoping that they’ve done some sort of transformation to tweak the program.
