Kids are teens I'm afraid. My eldest is 19 and won't be traveling with us but my 16 son and 14 daughter will be there. Their favourite activity is watching the Disney movies by the pool. We sit and sip, they splash and watch the show.
We also go every year and we're going for the non-expiry ones this time too. Ten park days and 10 extras will last us at least 3 years.
I'm debating staying up until midnight tonight to grab the best JetBlue seats I can for March - they go on sale Sept 5th (tomorrow)!! I read that JetBlue is like WestJet - TV's on the planes.
Sheribo...my favourite thing to do is sit and sip so we will have to find you around the pool. Which section have you requested - I think I like the sounds of Congress Park - you sound like a veteran of SSR - we are 1st timers and rented someone's DVC points.
I agree with the 10 day no expiration thing. Basically for $100 more we will have tickets for a while.
BTW Sheribo....I live in Toronto but work for the Royal Canadian Mint so I am in your lovely city often!

We have been to SSR 3 times and have requested the Grandstand for this trip. When we bring the kids, we like to be close to the Carriage House so the kids can walk to Disney Quest. We're doing an adult only trip next fall and will stay in Congress Park. It's a little bit of a walk to the carriage house but quieter.
Ottawa weather is hot now but in March, we'll be desperate to get out! I'll look for you on movie night at SSR. Doesn't seem to matter what movie it is, the kids want to be there.
We'll be at Windsor Hills from March 7-15 spending time at WDW, then driving down to Fort Lauderdale and cruising on the Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas from March 15-21. Can't wait!!
We're flying from SYR Mar 14-21st and staying at WH. We will be doing some park days but probably not all as the kids want to go to the Kennedy Space Center and to the ocean. Now that things are falling into place I might start getting excited soon!

We were lucky enough to be in Orlando when the Space Shuttle Endeavor went up. We parked along the beach in Titusville and watched it go up. Amazing! I'm hoping that the Feb. 12th launch gets postponed (they often do) to March break so we can do it again.
We are staying at Blue Tree for a week then on to Orange Lake Resort. In Florida March 14-24. Looking forward to sitting out by the pool in the sun!!!!
I hope the weather warms up!
We are staying at CBR Mar 12 for 2 nights then off to a 4 BR pool home in Calabay Parc for 7 nights..only doing Disney for 1 day (GADGAD) and just lounging and beach days and shopping for the rest.
Can't wait
Why are people worrried about the weather? It is in the 20s all next week. I'm planning on it being in the 20s when I am there too! I think 24 is really ideal. Plus usually resorts have heated pools so... no snow, no ice lots of fun. My kids want to go to the beach which we have never done during March Break but we will drive to one, but that water would be cold! So we could build a sand castle and stare at the water. Any good beach recommendations?
Calena
P.S. One year we went to the Florida Keys during March Break and that water was warm enough to swim in.
