Ontario-Long Point

Hi. For our next years holiday, we were thinking of renting a cottage in Long Point.Has anyone done this and have any good place that they have rented? We would prefer a beach front.

My mother rents a cottage on Long Point for two weeks every summer for the past 5 years or so. It's a really nice place for her to take my kids, but I know that it's an individual owner that rents it to her and she's always fully booked. She gives her customers the same weeks every year until they decide not to rent again.

You'll probably just have to search the local paper or craigslist and see what comes up. The beach is great though and worth the effort!

Oh Long point area is beautiful. I cant help you with any cottage in piticular as we are campers. I just wanted to say great area to choose.

We rented in Turkey Point years ago & the best thing we did was drive out there in the spring & look for signs on cottages that said "for rent" & then picked one to rent & called them.
