Hi :wave2: We are a little slow getting one but does any one know of a good place in Southern Ontario to buy a Gr 8 Graduation Dress? Not too much $$$ to. We just went state side for a couple of hours but Marshells didn't have one this time.

Have you checked out Bridal Stores? Sometimes you can pick up bridesmaids dresses for pretty reasonable prices. I'm not sure where in Southern Ontario you live, but I know mom bought my Grade 8 graduation dress, and a few years later, my prom dress at a Bridal Shop on Christina Street in Sarnia called Aliya's. She's bought quite a few dresses for herself there as well.

There is a store in Birchwood Mall in Port Huron called Deb's. My daughter, as well as about 90% of her class, bought their grad dresses there last year. Most were in the $100 US range. They have a very large selection.

Aliya's is still in Sarnia as well as a one or two other bridal shops on Christina St, but Deb's is much cheaper. There is a bridal shop in Port Huron also, I can't remember the name, I believe it is Ron ______? in downtown Port Huron. If you are in the area you could look in a phone book, but they have alot of dresses also, but again, a bit pricier than Deb's.

Fairweather always has pretty dresses in popular formal styles cheap.
That's where my DD got her's last year. I think, too, that they kept track of what dresses were bought for each school.

Was there a JC Penney state side where u go? They usually have awesome not so pricy dresses.

If you can get to Toronto, check out all the bridal shops near the corner of Spadina and Queen. They are all over the place, and very moderately priced.

Hi again. We ended up just going to the mall in Cambridge today. Tried a couple of stores and thought WOW over $200.00. We went and tried Sears and DD found a cute long dress in shades of pinks with little straps for $99.00. It was the exact same one in the other store for $200.00. What a relief. Then she saw a pair of clear light ups sandles with a little heal.Well they would be ok for the dance but we will still search for those.($50.00) :confused3
