Ontario Dis Meet for Give Kids the World

Hi there my fellow Canadians!


I went this past weekend to the NJ Dis Meet It was a great weekend and it got me thinking about having a meet here in Ontario.

Right now there is only 1 Canadian Dis Meet each year in Nova Scotia wouldn't it be great if Ontario could do one too?

Ive constructed a survey to see if people are interested. Also feel free to PM me if your interested in helping plan a event!

Around the United States the Dis boards members has been having Disboard meets that the proceeds are going to Give Kids the world. Currently there is one annual meet in Canada in Nova Scotia.
I have gone two years now to the one in New Jersey and am trying to see if there is enough interest to have one here in Ontario.

Well based on when the others are, I was thinking the last weekend of May next year. I was thinking Burlington area as its not as expensive for venues than Toronto or Niagara.

There are some great venues in this area. Im also looking into some hotels too.

I know this is old now but I just did coasting for kids yesterday and had a great time. I would love to do more to rasie money for this great charity. If you still have an interest in doing this let me know.

I've been going to the NS Dismeet for GTKTW. It's an enjoyable day. Maybe once I'll take part in the whole weekend. It's a great cause, and it's tons of fun to meet some other Disney Freaks. I hope you get to do one!

If this does happen, I suggest Windsor. We border Detroit so having lots of Americans wouldn't be difficult. Toronto is a 4hr drive so anyone from there down could possibly make it. Most of Michigan is a quick drive and some parts of Ohio are only 3 hours away. Lots of places in town to do the meet as well.
