Hi

Can anyone give me any info on the Ontario airport?

Is it as close as Santa Ana to DL?

My other option is LAX.

Thanks.

Here's some airport info for comparison:

Orange County AirportThe most convenient airport to land at for visiting Disneyland. Airport
Driving distance to Disneyland: 12 miles

Long Beach Municipal Airport
Driving distance to Disneyland: 18 miles

Ontario Airport
Driving distance to Disneyland: 32 miles

Los Angeles International Airport
The airport with the most options
Driving distance to Disneyland: 35 miles

Burbank Airport
Driving distance to Disneyland: 40 miles

Thanks-seems its a bit closer than LAX.

On April 14th SWA releases their schedule through October and I am trying to make a $ensible/educated decision regarding airfare from the Boston area.

LAX is more convoluted in getting to DLR. You have to take the 105 to the 605 then north to the 5 or south to the 91 then to the 5. I am not sure you can even get on the 5 south from the 105 via the 605.

Ontatio you go to the freeway west then south on the 57 then west on Katella or Ball. Go with the cheapest fare but with LAX remember that it is convoluted and can get very congested at times. Ontario is not that bad a drive.

We will probably be taking the Disneyland Express. We are used to driving in Boston, but LA is worse, but I will definitely keep Ontario in mind.

My last LAX fiasco involved the driver taking a right instead of a left then going around the long way. Coming home I had to give the driver instructions then I told the passengers how to get to DLR from my house, lol. Super Shuttle 0 for 2. That is why I say Ontario is easier or John Wayne is easier. Good luck on the trip.

Then LAX and SNA are your only options.

When looking at the money of the various airports, be sure that you have your transportation costs correct. I chose ONT once b/c I thought supershuttle would be the same no matter what airport, but the ss cost from ONT was about 3 times (if not more) expensive than from/to SNA.

Thanks Bumbershoot!

I am also trying to figure out if the new package that is being offered at DL would be cheaper than buying things separately. We have a ressie at CCI for $122 a night and wanted to buy a City Pass from Costco. CCI rooms are not available at that time, Carousel is. Have you stayed there?
