I thought I saw I thread about this awhile back, but I couldn't find it while searching. We are staying at POR and have booked EMM in August. I saw on Kenny's website that busses would be running for this and breakfast reservations, but on the POR website it says they no longer offer the early transportation. Can anyone help and clarify for me?

Disney starts buses "AROUND" 6:30 AM to cover early ADRS/Tours EACH day.

Here are "first bus times" from one morning during a stay at All-Star Sports.

("First bus time" for Magic Kingdom.)

(In this picture the Magic Kingdom time is for the 3rd MK bus of the day,the other 3 Parks are "first bus times".)

They will take care of you. The buses run earlier than advertised, as shown above. The "One hour before park opening" is really just when they gear them up to start coming more frequently. On an EMM day I am sure they will have enough for the demand.

No worries we had a bus driver around 6 ish and he was going to Epcot but he took us to the animal kingdom lodge for our Boma res

Thanks. I assumed something had to be in place, but it worried me when our resort put that they discontinued the earlier bus times.

I think you were on the fan site (http://www.portorleans.org/buses.php) and not the actual WDW site (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/port-orleans-resort-riverside/). (Note that the WDW site is incorrect as well as it indicates only 45 minutes before park opening.)

The fan site was probably in response to the buses that they used to offer for going to an early breakfast at another resort. The change is that you now have to transfer at a park or use non-WDW transportation to get to another resort for an early breakfast.

Great catch TobiKaye! You are exactly right. I didn't realize that was a fan site. Thank you for giving us one less thing to worry about.
