Onsite Hotels with kitchenettes

The Disney Vacation Club resort studio rooms all have kitchenettes.

They are Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, Boardwalk, Beach Club, and now AKL.

The Ft. Wilderness cabins have full kitchens.

The Value Family Suites have kitchenettes.

the cabins appear to be around $300 a night for April which is way out of our price range- how does the disney club work- what is their average price per night-

At this point we are thinking of renting a house off site but if we can find something with a kitchenette onsite we may consider it-

Thanks <Jen

if you go through Disney - then the price is high!

you can rent through a DVC member and give the price down quite a ways.

OKW studio - 2 queen beds and kitchennett - will be around $80 (8 points * $10) a night - for Sun thru Thurs night (leave on Fri morning) - Oct, most of Nov and most of Dec, Jan, Sept

if you pay more than $10 a point - then the price will go up.

that say be sure the DVC member can get the nights you want before money is exchanged.

Now if you want next year - they shouldn't have a problem. but anytime this year and you might be told nothing is availability.

the food & wine festavial is going on - then the Thanksgiving - then Dec (christmas parties are happening through out Dec), then christmas then NY.

for spring and summer OKW is 11 points a night- so that makes it $110 per night at $10 per point.

you can rent points at a DVC resort to stay at a onsite resort w/ a kitchenette or get a ASMU suite or stay at FW

the DVC studios have a small sink, a larger dorm style fridge, a coffee pot and a microwave. It is has been a few years since I was in a suite, so I don't remember if there's a toaster or plates & cups. Not sure if they'd satisfy your kitchen needs or not. The one bedroom's at OKW include a full kitchen/living room/dining area... very nice, and a little pricey. It has a full size range, sink, fridge and dishwasher, and comes equipped with cookware and table service. You will get way more value out of your accommodations offsite. (We love OKW, but our budget usually dictates an offsite stay.)

I know that you can rent a much bigger space with 2 bathrooms for around $150 per night or less if you would be willing to consider a townhouse or condo.
