Onsite hotels - can you compare levels to WDW deluxe and moderate?

I used to think that my first choice would be HRH, then I saw Samantha Brown at the PBH and decided I want to stay there, but feared the price!

On these boards, I am reading a lot of good reviews about RPR, but then I read that this was recently built as a moderate alternative to the other two. Can the RPR be compared to WDW levels -- is it comparable to CBR or POR, or is it more of a deluxe?

RPR is definitely comparable to a WDW deluxe in terms of amenities (club level--concierge floor--is excellent).

I have stayed at both PBH and HRH. They would compare in every way to a deluxe at WDW. In fact, the rooms are quite a bit nicer than the room we had at BC two years ago. To give you an idea, our room at BC (waterview) was about 380 square feet. There was a vanity with a sink outside the bathroom. The bathroom itself was as small as physically possible. There is a commode and a bathtub -- just enough room to open the door. If you get a good deal on this room at BC, it will cost you well over $300 per night.

We stayed at PBH last year over Labor Day. We had a Deluxe Pool View Room - it was 500 square feet. The bathroom was huge! Separate tub and shower - all marble -- fabulous. We paid $180 per night for this room using our Entertainment Card. The resort is absolutely lovely. Nice restaurants, pools and walkable (or water taxi) to the Theme Parks and CityWalk. I believe the Universal hotels are a much better value.

I would highly recommend the hotels at Universal.
