Onsite Hotel Restaurant Question?!?

Hey everyone! I have a couple of questions regarding onsite restaurants.

1) Is there a difference between the breakfast served at Island Dining Room, Tratteria de Porto, or The Kitchen? Does anyone have any pictures?

2) We are planning on eating at Emerils Tchoup Chop one night. We wanted something different the next night. We are debating between Tratteria de Porto or Mama Dellas. Which one is better and why? Is the pasta bar at TDP good? What do they have there?

3) Is there somewhere on the boards that has reviews of the Universal restaurants like they do with the disney restaurants?

Breakfast is similar at those three places. Large buffets as well as a la carte offerings.

I have heard better reviews of Mama Della's than the Trattoria.

Mama Dellas all the way. I find the food and experience to be much more authentic at Mama Dellas than Tratteria.

quite a few of the trip reports have dining/food pics in them.

check out the trip forum but include the past pages when you check this out.

the one main change in the Island Dining Room is that it changed dinner to an asian flair last october.

menu is listed on the rph site under dining.

other than that, the foods you see and what is reviewed, should be similar even if it is a year old.

I've done Tratteria de Porto and didn't think it was that great. It wasn't terrible, the staff were great and very attentive, the restaurant was nice, but the food wasn't anything memorable or worth going back for. :

We haven't tried Mama's yet, but we are in October!! I have heard such good things about Mama's and it's our 10th anniversary so we're going there for dinner while we stay. I can't wait!

I haven't tried the new Islands menu yet so I can't comment on that either. Guess I wasn't much help here. :
