Onsite Birthday Ideas for 11 year old?

Okay, we are booked at RPR for the 2 nights before Thanksgiving (then moving offsite) to celebrate dd 11th birthday. Can someone recommend one of the restaurants in the park or at one of the hotels for a fun/good dinner?

Any suggestions for getting a cake or room decorations and whats available?

We've celebrated many birthdays at Universal. Hard Rock Cafe is a fun place to celebrate! Bubba Gumps is a blast too. The Kitchen made a HUGE deal when my son turned 13. Mama Della was great when my husband celebrated his birthday. I always order a cake through my hotels concierge and you can have it served in any restaurant or your room. Their cakes are AMAZING and delicious. Also expensive but so worthwhile.

As far as balloons and decorations - I bring them and decorate the room when the birthday person is at the parks.

The day of the birthday upon entering either IOA or Universal walk over to Guest Services and ask for a Birthday Sticker.

Years ago we bought a birthday hat in Universal. They are a lot of fun.

i don't know if this is still done but at one time, guest services would give a birthday person a sticker to wear at the parks.

no, they didn't read any guest's mind, but did give my friend a birthday sticker due to her inquiring about it.

Well, you did right by booking on-site! You will all LOVE it!

We just came back from my daughter's 11th birthday trip. She had an awesome time! A couple of things that we did that made the trip even more special -

*bought a birthday hat at a gift shop on our way into IOA (main gift shop on the left as you enter). That baby got her so much attention and she ate it up! There were three different rides where they got on the loud speaker and announced it was her birthday and asked everyone to please wish her a happy birthday. She loved it!

* I made her a Tshirt that said it was her birthday. It was super cute and made her feel extra special.

*Ate at Hard Rock Cafe where they make the birthday girl stand up while it is announced to the restaurant that it is her birthday and please shout happy birthday to her! Also had a yummy birthday sundae.

*Ate at Mama Dellas for a more relaxing dinner. Mama came to the table and sang happy birthday in Italian. It was just beautiful. Again she received a special dessert.

*We just ordered a cake from a nearby Publix and also picked up balloons and such there.
