So you only have two evenings in which to watch evening entertainment (ROL, Fantasmic, Wishes, IllumiNations, Star Wars Fireworks etc). Assume you've already seen Wishes and Fantasmic, what do you go see, and why?

Wishes is the only evening entertainment we watch. None of the other options interest us.

Normally I'd say Wishes, no matter what, but the Star Wars fireworks is my pick now - we haven't seen it yet, AND the new show with projections seems like it's going to be really great. People already rave about how good it is now, so with the addition of the new stuff, I have high hopes!

So, with two nights, I'd see Wishes and Star Wars.

Wishes is my favorite thing in all of WDW and I will not miss it. That being said, if I had to choose amongst everything else, I would go with the Star Wars fireworks. We have never seen them and really want to.

If you have seen Wishes and Fantasmic, then see Illuminations for sure. I'm inclined to say Rivers of Light (assuming its actually open), but Star Wars should be great too. I haven't seen it yet, but with the planned upgrades it should be something. I believe it is possible to do Fantasmic! and Star Wars, so you'd get a little more bang for the buck.

I alctually think Wishes is a tad overrated, but Celebrate the MAgic, which comes on right before Wishes is amazing!

My choice is always Fantasmic, but the Star Wars fireworks are amazing, and you can see both if you're quick about getting out of Fantasmic. This is what we did at the end of May.

SW and Wishes. You couldn't pay me to watch Illuminations, well maybe the fireworks part but not the beginning part, I hate it. I love Fantasmic but don't do it every trip. Can't say about ROL since it hasn't begun yet.

Why not the beginning part?

Rivers of Light ( if it ever opens) and Star Wars Fireworks. If you are there for Star Wars, you may as well see Fantasmic!

If ROL is not open, I would pick Wishes and Star Wars.

I'm just back and the Star Wars fireworks was one of the highlights of my trip. I just happened to be in the park at the time and so glad I was. They were fantastic! I do love wishes and Illuminations, but this is my new favorite.

Just a quick follow up question! I see that someone has done both Fantasmic and the current Star Wars fireworks - this is my group's plan. I'm going to DHS Oct 28, and I see Fantasmic listed at 7:30, but there are no fireworks times listed (in fact, the new Star Wars fireworks show debuting in a couple of weeks only have scheduled times through the first few days of July!!). Is it safe to assume that Disney WILL add the show to October, and that both Fantasmic and Star Wars fireworks will show on the same night? Thanks in advance!

Wishes because its a must see for me when I am at Disney and last time I saw Fantasmic then headed to the Star Wars fireworks after and the fireworks were amazing! So my top 2 would be Wishes then Fantasmic followed by the Star Wars fireworks if possible.

For the OP's scenario?

All about the fireworks for me!

Star Wars Fireworks would be the must see for me (haven't seen them)...new and great word of mouth.

Wishes, or any MK fireworks are always exciting for me (I prefer DL's Remember and Forever, but when in Florida...). But I have to be in the park, none of this watching for far away at a hotel.

Jungle Book has lowered my expectations for ROL.

Fantasmic has its fans, but I'm not one of them. It ranked below Illuminations to me.

Before I would have said Wishes and Illuminations - which we love both. But this last trip we watched the Star Wars fireworks and they were awesome. So I would say Wishes and Star Wars fireworks.

Have fun!!

I'd probably do Wishes (always do it as much as posible) and either Fantasmic or Illuminations (probably leaning toward Illuminations). If I've never seen Illuminations, then def. Illuminations, but if doing Fantasmic! there's hope to also catch some of the Star Wars Fireworks. ROL isn't out yet, so I'd really have to see it on youtube first or at least hear reviews before I'd really consider it.
