Only Post Positively About 2009

I got Toy Story Mania for Christmas (Well, we all did). Yep, that's about it...

Toy Story Mania is a WII game based on the Disney attraction of the same name.

I had a good 2009, I'm happy to say. But I'm not about to start bragging about it because when people post details their finances, that's how I see it.

I also think it's bad luck to boast about doing well because it's something that can change in an instant. You never know where the dice will land, and as good as any year might be, you could find yourself through no fault of your own in a bad place one day.

This is where the reverse Schadenfreude. Apparently it IS ok to post how horrible your life is, or how bad your finances are or how deep in financial straits you are, yet someone and others comes along and says that things are not as bad for everyone it is called bragging.

Sorry but these are just the facts. While some are saying 2009 was a horrible year, for others it was one of the best year's ever. Why not celebrate success in all areas of one's life.

It would be rude to jump in on a thread where everyone is posting how miserable their life has been in 2009 to say how good life has been. I think the same thing for someone who wishes to share the positive only to have people come in to rain on their parade by posting the negative.

Not a thing wrong with a positive successful thread about 2009! Don't like it, ignore it...pretty simple. Reverse Schadenfreude otherwise.
