Only POR or CBR available Mods which should we pick?

We wanted Coronado, but wasn't available. So I just booked CBR for our trip but having some doubts. I have previously stayed at POR Mansions and do love this resort, but thought we'd try something new, as we've never stayed at CBR. But I'm nervous we won't be as happy there. Also, is it true some of the rooms @ POR have recently been refurbished. If so, I would prefer a much newer room, as we stayed at POFQ just after the refurbishment and really enjoyed how nice the room was. HELP!!!! Tell me we will enjoy CBR....or tell me to switch now to POR.....

You will enjoy CBR. The resort were refurbished at the end of 2002 so they should all be in good shape.

Another suggestion...PO-FQ--- request garden, no parking lot and see if you can upgrade at no charge to riverview! ... if you can't get that, go for PO-R Alligator Bayou bldg 14 or Partiere Place!

Another vote for POR. We stayed in the Mansion section. The renovations are really nice. The room was clean and looked great. We didn't like CBR-waaay too spread out for us. My next choice would be POFQ before CBR. I also really like the boat to DTD. Very pretty at night.

I think all of the Mansions in POR have been redone, but only some of AB. I would definitely do POR again. Maybe you can stay in a different mansion or get a corner room. POFQ might be available by the time your trip rolls around, that would be my next choice.

If we had to pick between POR and CBR we would go CBR. We have stayed there twice over the years and enjoyed both stays.

I don't know how long you are staying for but if it is a week or more, why don't you do BOTH resorts?
We are splitting our stay when we go.
I like variety and wouldn't want to spend an entire week at ONE resort.

CBR gets our vote everytime!! It's an absolutely beautiful resort! I can't wait to go back.

Thanks all for your input. Well....we've decided to go back to POR....

We looked at all the pictures on the web and just felt the beautiful grounds @ POR are more to our liking. Although I do think CBR does look very nice as well.

POR just fits our "family" taste better.
