Only one TS meal

I'm going to be in WDW this summer for a convention, and my family is going to come along for the trip. We're going to try to keep costs down, so we're going to do mostly CS meals. We thought we'd go to one TS restaurant, but I'm not sure where to go. There will be me, my husband and our two sons (11 & 3). We're going to go to MK, AK and Epcot this time, so I was thinking about lunch at Biergarten, San Angel Inn or Crystal Palace. We've done breakfast and dinner at CP before, but we haven't tried the other two. Any suggestions? Thanks!

We had lunch at Biergarten last Sept. and are planning to return this Sept. The food is pretty good, and there is a German band playing at certain times during the day. The kids were able to go up and dance and my DD had a blast!

I did dinner at San Angel Inn and we liked it. The atmosphere is pretty unique and the food was good. You will also enjoy the margaritas, they were delicious!

Biergarten and Crystal Palace are both excellent choices. I'd go with whatever park you will be in on that day, and book there. Both of these buffets have plenty on for everyone and are delish!

Since you have already been to CP, I'd pick the Biergarten. We ate there in September and found it a fun experience. Your kids will like it and, since it's a buffet, everyone should find something that they like to eat.

A couple of non-park places I would also recommend are O'Hana (Poly) and Whispering Canyon (WL), both easily accessible from the MK park.

I would go with Crystal Palace. We had lunch there in Feb and the food on the buffet was amazing!
With the two kids you may also want to think about Chef Mickey's on the day that you are at MK. It's just a short monorail ride over to the Contemporary Resort, and the characters are great!
