Which one would have if you could only eat at the Poly once during a trip.

We've not been at all so please elaborate as to why. :)

[EDIT] Just to add we are two adults in our mid-20s

I voted for Kona Dinner even though I love O'hana dinner too. The reason I picked Kona is because the food tastes better to me. Kids would enjoy O'hana more. If you have kids, go to O'hana if not go to Kona.

Hi! We enjoyed OHana with our family. However, I picked Kona for just the two of us. The food is delicious! Can't wait to go again.:thumbsup2

I voted Kona breakfast. Kona dinner is very good too though as is lunch.

Room service is also very good.

'Ohana for dinner would be my last choice with 'Ohana breakfast just ahead of it.

Kona for lunch or dinner is one of my favorites. The food is quite good & it's moderately priced. Ohana is good if you have kids or insatiable eaters.

I love the vibe at the Poly. I try to get over to Kona for lunch or dinner each trip. This coming trip, we chose it for lunch on Mother's Day.

There really is not a bad choice, IMO. If you're goal is eating great food then choose Kona - if you are interested in eating good food in a fun atmosphere then choose Ohana.

If you're looking for a traditional sit-down, order off the menu meal then I would suggest Kona for breakfast or dinner. There is a much broader selection of foods at Kona since you're ordering off the menu & the food is better than Ohana.

If you're looking for a fun yet relaxed character breakfast than Ohana would be a great selection. Pluto & Stitch are a riot & there is a dance for kids with the characters around the restaurant. Also this is one of the few character breakfasts which is not a buffet - which is nice so you don't worry about missing characters. The food is good - nothing special: mickey waffles, eggs, etc.

If you're looking for a fun dinner with a strong Hawaiian vibe, then I would suggest Ohana. Again the food is good, nothing great: appetizers like chicken wings are served family style. Various meats (pork, steak, shrimp, turkey) are served from skewers. There is usually some constant form of entertainment going on like learning to hula dance or doing the limbo. Some people find Ohana noisy rather than fun.

'Ohana dinner is mostest favoritest meal at WDW, so of course I voted for it.

I am a big fan of the food, although there have always been a few items I don't care for, and I like that it's all you can eat, but they bring it to you. I also love the relaxed, casual atmosphere, and although I woudn't call 'Ohana really quiet, it's a lot quieter than you'd expect a family place to be.

But my favorite part of 'Ohana is desert. 'Ohana's desert is bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and bananas foster sauce, and it is the best desert I've ever had at any WDW restaurant, hands down.

I picked Ohana dinner since it is DH's favorite. We are a childless couple in our early thirties and have enjoyed our meals at Ohana. I think part of it has to do with the fact that our first time there, we got an amazing table next to the window that overlooks the MK. We had a great view for the fireworks and were also out of the way of the general craziness of the families with kids.
