Only going to restaurant - NOT parks

I am a Florida resident and I want to go to one of the Disney restaurants but I am NOT planning to go to any of the parks. Is this possible? How do you just go to one of the restaurants for dinner? Do they allow you to do this? Can anyone help?

Only in Downtown Disney area and resort hotels. Any restaurant in the parks themselves require park passes. Ohanas, Cape May Cafe etc are possible. You can even go to Hoop dee doo Revue or the Laua without entering a park.

Some of the best restaurants are at the resorts or in DTD, no park passes needed there. We stayed in WDW one summer and didn't go to the parks but we did go to lots of the restaurants at the resorts and DTD.

In order to go to any restaurant in any of the actual parks you must have theme park admission, but with so many choices outside the parks you don't need to worry. All of our favs are at the resorts and DTD.

However, if you are a Florida Resident you can purchase an Epcot After 4:00 Annual Pass for $144 which will allow you to go to any of the Epcot Restaurants any time during a 12 month period with no blockout dates. And this does include free parking at Epcot, as well as the ability to purchase the Tables In Wonderland Dining Discount Card.
