Our kids started school yesterday. When I asked my DD what she thought of her first day of first grade, she told me that she is the only girl in her class. There are 7 boys and her. There were only 3 other girls last year, but all of them left the school this year. She said she's going to love it because her teacher is going to treat her very special. I think it will be good training, at a young age, to learn how boys think and operate. I also love that there are only 8 kids in the class. She'll get so much more special attention to help her in learning to read.
