Only bought 17 one time use points this year; can I buy more?

Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm hoping those of you who have bought extra points can answer this - We'll need just a few points for our trip this year and we may want to switch resorts. I know I have wait until the 7 month mark to buy the points & switch resorts. How long does it usually take to complete buying the points? Thanks!

You call MS to make the reservation and during the process they will purchase the points you need. Although a second CM actually takes the credit card, you are switched back and forth between the two CMs. It took us less than 10 minutes for the entire process.

I booked this morning. Was not switched to another CM. One CM took reservation and CC for one-use points.

Shoot... a couple weeks ago I borrowed 17 points from 2016 for our VGF. Thanks for the info, I was not aware this was an option.

It's almost always better to use your own points and borrow than pay $15 pp but there are exceptions.

The One Time points are transferred into your account while you are on the phone with Member Services (after you have paid for them).
