Going to Newport Beach, CA for a day at the ocean. I'm very excited but also a little heart broken that I was be soooo close to Disneyland and not going!!:rotfl2:

Totally with you on that one!

In fact on my last trip to CA (to visit family), I insisted that we weren't going to DL. I had two friends tell me - "there's no way you're going to be that close and not go." They know me well :rotfl2: I managed to convince non-Disney loving DH (:scared1:) to take a one day trip to DCA to take the kids to Carsland. :cool1:

Nicely done!!

Well DH and I could not stay away from DLR. We finished the beach 4 and headed to DL to "kill some time and avoid traffic" :lmao: before heading home. We were considering buying tickets until we heard that the park was only open until 9 (it was 5:30ish by this time). And even though it killed us a little inside we figured it was not smart to spend hundreds of dollars for the 5 of us for 3 1/2 hours!
We did however spend some time exploring DTD (which we never take the time to do) and ate at the Rainforest Cafe!
