Me (26 at the time of travel), my hubby (28 at time of travel), our kidlets 5 &2, my mom, my brother and sister in law!

I havn't been to DisneyWorld since 1991, as a family vacation. My mom and I did Disneyland for 8 years in a row, with our last trip being in 1998.

So while it won't be my *first* trip...it's been a long time. It'll be a first for my babies though, and I can't wait to see the world thru their eyes!

Awwww! You guys are going to have such a magical time! Joe (also 28) and I (I'll be 25 when we go) can't wait to bring our kids the first time to Disney. We're not planning on trying for kids for another few years but it's definitely one of those things I'm looking forward to.

Where are you staying? Did you already mention it? I probably missed it. lol Do you want to share your ADR's? We stayed at ASMo last year and Loooooved it. We took a ton of pics there too-would love to share them if you want to see. We were in the Love Bug building.

Hi NJ2! I see you're staying at the Beach Club AND the Poly? That sounds awesome.

We're staying at ASMo with a request in the Buzz Lightyear area with an adjoining room for my mom, she's agreed to take the kids back to the hotel around bedtime if Tom (DH) and I want to hang out at the parks later!

This is what I have so far for our ADR's:

10/3 - Nothing planned (Arrival day)
10/4 - Chef Mickey's - Dinner
10/5 - Coral Reef - Dinner
10/6 - Crystal Palace - Breakfast
107 - Rose & Crown - Dinner
10/8 - Tony's Town Square (I'm not sure that we're keeping this ressie - we haven't decided 100% on doing MNSSHP)
10/9 - Brown Derby - Dinner
10/10 - Capt'n Jacks - Lunch (Departure day)

Great great great ADR's! Such a variety! We've only eaten at one place on your list (Chef Mickey's) but are scheduled to eat at CR this year. All the other ones on your list are foreign to me.

I see you're from IL-we're in MN Do you drive or fly? We drive!

With the few of us traveling at the same time and staying relatively close together, we should try to carve out 15 minutes during the trip and meet! That would be so fun! (I tend to get ahead of myself if you couldn't tell. lol)

We're flying! :lol: No way I'd be able to survive that long in the car with my kiddos. Or maybe they wouldn't survive that long? I was ready to pay the 203.30/person a ticket - then one morning I was browsing united's website and came across tickets for 128.20/person and booked 7 tickets right then. I realized that we only spent like $90 more on SEVEN tickets then it would have been for the 4 of us to fly!


Some of the resturants were not our first choices...but we're traveling with my brother and his wife, and they're vegetarians (who eat seafood)..so we tried to pick places that would be kid & veggie family friendly. I was able to sneek in 2 character meals, so I'm happy. Also, my mom has been RAVING about the Brown Derby since I brought up the WDW vacation, so my brother and I have agreed to suprise her with that.


I'd love to meet some new people! We'll be around from the 3rd-10th

Rap-WOW! That's a great air fare rate! Good for you guys! I don't fly so driving works well for us. It's actually a beautiful drive through Tennessee.

We'll have to plan a mini meet then! Yay!

Just wanted to chime in.....We will be there Sept. 28-Oct. 6! The countdown is on! Doing MNSSHP Oct 4th. Can't wait! Happy planning, everyone!

Hello lovemy3girls! I can't believe how many will be there in that last week of Sept/early Oct! We'll be there 9/29-10/6.

We're going to MNSS on 10/4 too!! Are you going in costume? Joe and I are deliberating it....we had a GREAT costume idea last year but chickened out last minute. I think we'll do it this year though (dress up)

My 3 DD's are dressing up, of course, and they are trying to talk us into it, we'll see. DH just wants to wear a Tshirt that says "This is my costume". Have you ever been to MNSSHP? We were there in 2005. It is so much fun! Well, maybe we will see you there!

Oh yes! We were there last year (am going to be posting pictures later tonight for Lynne) and looooved it. There were no waits for any rides and we got some gooood candy. lol I love your DH's tshirt idea! That's hilarious. Do you have ADR's for before the party? We're going to Cosmic Ray's-have heard good things about the rib and chicken platter

I think we are just gonna do counter service before the party. Cosmic Ray's is good- we ate lunch there last trip. We might just eat at our resort before we head over to the party. We'll just play it by ear. I hate to wish the summer away, but I CAN"T WAIT TILL SEPT 28TH!

If you don't want to wish the summer away, I WILL! lol We're leaving 9/27 to drive to St Louis and will be in Atlanta on the 28th and then checking into ASMu on the 30th.

Glad you joined this thread Lovemy3girls. I have 3 girls also. How old are yours? Mine will be 16, 14 and 10. I'll also be at WDW from the 9/27 till 10/7. I cannot wait either. I do love summer though and am enjoying it off. I work at a school. Oh, and I'm also doing MNSSHP on 10/4.

My girls are: Just turned 5, almost 7, and 9 1/2- that 1/2 is very important, ya know! They are so excited for this trip, mostly because Grammy and Poppop are coming with us for most of the trip, and they have never really done Disney (just a couple of day trips to MK). The girls can't wait to show them what it's all about. Plus, my Aunt and little cousin age 11 have never been, so they are meeting us down there for a few days as well. Nothing like going to Disney with newbies. It should be fun. Still trying to decide on costumes for the party. The girls keep changing their minds. My parents and aunt will be gone by then, so it will just be our family of 5 at the party, which will be nice. Any costume ideas?
