Thanks Skippy, we are out the door.:dance3:

I just wanted to share my counter one last time before I head off to the airport.

0 days, 0 hours, 31 minutes and 44 seconds

:yay: :dance3: :cool1:  :cheer2: :dancer: :jumping1:

We're here at Disney now and it's been nothing but a whirl wind. I don't even know where the last 4 days have gone. Anyway just a quick post to say HI and I hope everyone else is having a great vacation!

Hey guys!

We're having an amazing vacation so far. We've taken over 400 pictures and currently have 116 photopass pics. :)

Can't wait to share our stories when we get back.

Oh and I've seen Linda twice-she's so sweet!!

We just got in and the post Disney blues are already setting in : (

Hope everyone had a fantastic trip-I know we did! :)

We had a wonderful trip, it was so much fun. I so enjoyed meeting you all.
The parks were not so crowded and we were able to do everything. I just booked for June 28 our anniversary through July 3, and then we are off to North Carolina for next 4days.;) I can only carry-on with a trip booked.

Our countdown continues. My sister and her family (DH and 5 kids) are there now and have called to check in a few times. Tonite she had to get off the phone because they were being called for their table at Liberty Tree then later called back -- after Spectromagic was over. Tough life -- I'll remember to call her everyday in January when we are there. :)

So in the midst of my post Disney sorrows, I'm going to create a little poll about our last visit. Fill it out as you'd like!

Best Restaurant/Meal: Hands down, Kona!!! What a steal for just one table credit!

Favorite overall park: Our favorite is still MGM, but Magic Kingdom squeaked ahead only because of MNSSHP!

Favorite character interaction: We have many, but during the MNSSHP, we were in a picture line to see Captain Hook. As we were leaving after getting our pictures taken with him, he sneezed! It was a very manly sneeze but it would have been funny if it was dainty!

Favorite show: Fantasmic always amazes me

Worst Meal: Unfortunately, I'm going to say Yachtsman. The food wasn't nearly as good as I had thought it would be and it was a three hour experience. Much too long for us! We like to be in and out in about an hour! lol

Most cherished memory from trip: We have a lot of great memories, but the coral reef diver was very very special.

I've got tons of pictures so as soon as I get them loaded, I'll start to post them.

Can't wait to read your answers!!! Feel free to post new questions.

Marla-your boys are too cute!! I feel bad I didn't even get their name. They were cute though.

Linda-Your husband is super sweet. I loved his personality-so outgoing! I felt like I had known you all for years! :)

That's funny-I can just hear someone saying "Oh drat. I better get going. Our pager for LTT just went off." Haha!

January will be here before you know it!

Hi Sandy and Marla,

Just wanted to let you both know we arrived safely home yesterday. I'll update some of our highlights later. I ended up having a touch of food poisoning after we got back home yesterday and was sick all night :sad2:

Linda;)

So sorry to hear that, Linda! :( Hope you feel better soon!! Guess the bright side is that you didn't get sick while at Disney.....Feel better soon!

Ok Sandy, I will do a best of:

Our most magical moment. On Oct 1 we were at Epcot at rope drop, this was the 25th anniversary day. We had ressies for Garden Grill at 11am. We arrived about 15 min early and waited. The CM took us to our table and told us that we were Honorary Family of the Day for Garden Grill. The chef can out to meet us and he gave us a free appetizer and drinks with gloing ice cubes:cool1: Then our server told us that all of the charactors would come to meet us now and they would come back individually later on during the meal. :goodvibes This was so much fun, my dh told Mickey that I had a thing for him.:lmao: yeah I do.:rotfl2: My ds 9yr said this was the best day ever. At the end of the meal we were given a fast pass for 1 ride. The parks where slow so we really didn't need it. Getting there at robe drop we had ridden soarin, test track, and mission space and had FP for later by 11am.:cool1:

Our favorite meals in order are:
Garden Grill
Cape May
Hollywood and Vine
Whispering canyon

This is by food taste and quaity only. The atmosphere was good at all of them and we enjoyed WC and service was great.

Marla, that's awesome!!! How exciting to be the family of the day at GG! :) We received two small dream certificates from the Concourse breakfast and another restaurant I can't remember for our anniversary.

I'm off to do more laundry. There's a ton to do! :)

Linda-Your husband is super sweet. I loved his personality-so outgoing! I felt like I had known you all for years! :)

Best restaurant meal: Whispering Canyon and Ohana's

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom and the MNSSHP was the absolute BEST!!

Favorite Character Interaction: Hmmm....this is a toughy! Jasmine's favorite character is Pluto and she did get a kiss from Prince Charming at the 1900 Park Fare. All my girls thought he was hot :thumbsup2 Tiffany liked Donald Duck. Melissa liked Piglet. Steve's favorite was Buzz Lightyear. I think my mom liked Goofy best. I did get nose kisses and a kiss on the lips from Pooh

Favorite Show: The MNNSHP parade!!!

Worst Meal: I'd have to say the Hoop Dee Doo our last night there meal. I was not impressed with the food and wished I had just spent more time in MK instead.

Most Cherished Memory: I'd have to say suprising my whole family the at the Coral Reef with personalized menus and then surprising them for a second time when the diver held up the banner for our table.

How about a New One.... Favorite Ride : Haunted Mansion and Soarin

Sandi, Are you starting to edit your photo cd. I spent hours editing them. I ended up with 571 pictures and now have 907 with the edits. I can't wait to order it and get it. Then I want to print out some of the best ones. There are a lot of good ones. Steve took pics too but I haven't looked at all those yet.

Marla it was nice to meet you and your family. I think it would of been a fun cruise and there never another drop of lightening during the rest of the time after they canceled it. We ended up watching it in the world showcase.

Sandi, I'm glad my husband made you feel at ease. He does have a great personality. I am already trying to plan another trip. I'd like to go about the same time again but I don't think the school would let me do it again next time. Especially since the teachers have to take their vacations during school vacations. We'll see what happens but I loved the whole Halloween atmosphere and smaller crowds. My oldest daughter graduates in June of 2009 though and I'd like to do another trip before she goes off to college.

Not sure what I had but I was the only one that got sick and now I feel better. Glad it happened after I got home from the plane though and Disney. It would of rotted being sick there or on the plane. By the way, I enjoyed the plane ride!

Keep in touch,

Linda

ADD ON:

Favorite ride: Everest
Favorite Charactor: Mickey at GG

I bought the Magic in the Streets Parade Memories CD, I love it:woohoo: I fire it up as soon I come into my office.

We had to work really hard to get the boys caught up on there homework, I think the max that I will ever take them out is 3 days.:scared:

I just loved the low crowds, I really feel like we experiened WDW.:)

Linda and Marla-you both have PM's! :)

Favorite Ride: Buzz Lightyear-I accidentally got like 126,000 points once! lol!!! Otherwise, we really loved the Monster's Inc Laughing Floor Comedy show. That was sooo funny.
