I've never made one before so I'm just kind of playing around with ideas. I have some Disney background scrapbooking sheets I was going to use along with Disney stickers and rub ons and now the paint samples. I was going to note my Dis name and the lime green Mickey head. I'm not generally too creative whatsoever so this should be interesting. lol

Ok I just confirmed my cake, diver and menu and the Coral Reef, I've spoken with my travel agent who confirmed that my tickets will be there when I check in and yes i'm still fighing the urge to finish packing. WooHOO!

Skip, you are just too funny! I marked on my Disney Calendar I can start packing on 9/21. And that's next Friday already! Eeeeeps!

So not NEXT weekend (the 22nd/23rd) but the weekend AFTER I'm going to be at freakin Disney World!!!!!

If I didn't have you guys to share this excitement with I would be a ball of nerves!

We rented points for our room and it will be our 7 year olds first time at Christmas and his 2nd WDW visit overall. he is so excited... I am taking extra memory cards for the camera my husband has always thought I was a bit silly taking pictures of things like the shower and room # and such that was until I found the DISboards and now he sits and looks at pictures and threads with me in the evenings... the only thing he has warned me about on our trip is that if I want pictures of his food I better take them fast 'cause he isn't gonna let it get cold just so I can get a good pic go figure

Awwww your 7 year old is going to have SUCH a great time! My husband is a convert too. lol He didn't realize quite how valuable the Dis is when it comes to information but now he does! I forward him at least 5 posts from here a day! Especially the food posts! lol

Ooooh those are good ones!!! We havne't done ANY on that list although we are doing CR this year. You'll have to let me know how you like Garden Grill. That was one that almost made it on the "to do" list of restaurants for this year. How exciting!

they are all first times for us...we have done Rainforest in DTD but never at AK.. the only other sit down we have ever done was the character breakfast at AK with Donald we are hoping we made good choices for this trip

I actually just handed Parkers Kindergarten teacher a letter today telling her to excuse him from classes. I also whispered to her that I wasn't telling him the exact dates (I don't want her telling him - then having to hear "ARE WE GOING TODAY??!!!")

A typical conversation from my 5 year old would be as follows:

Mom, are we going today?
-No, Parker in XX days.
Is that after today?
-Yes Parker, thats after today
So we're going tomorrow?
-No Parker, it's in X days.
But thats after today right? After tomorrow?
-PARKER just be quiet or we're not going at all!
