Only 2 TS on DDP for anniversary trip...are these good choices?

This is our 15th Anniversary year, and DH just said we could take a "short" trip (just the 2 of us) to WDW Labor Day weekend! Yea!!! I'm hoping for Free Dining (isn't everyone?) and went ahead and made ADR's. We would only be there for 3 nights, but coming in late on 8/29. If "rumors" are correct, free DDP may start on 8/30, so our first night would just be room only. Anyhoo...I was only able to get an ADR for 2:10 pm at LeCellier (lunch), and then made a dinner the next night at Kona. Do you think these are good Anniversary choices (DH loves filets!)? Is it worth it to use our TS for lunch at LeCellier, or should I make a dinner ADR somewhere else? Also, if by chance free DDP does materialize and is good for 8/29, we would have an extra TS credit to use (but couldn't use it that night). Should we eat one meal at a Signature Dining location (using the extra credit) or eat another TS somewhere for breakfast or lunch, and if so, what do you recommend? We travel to WDW about every 1 1/2 to 2 years with all the kiddos, so we usually dine at character meals, buffets, etc. I would love to try out new places. Thanks!

Because its a short trip and your Anniversary, why not just upgrade to Deluxe? That way you can do Narcoossee's or other special places.

bumping...any other thoughts. We're really on a budget for this little extra trip, so I don't think we want to bump up to deluxe DDP...

I think the two choices you made are fantastic. I order filet twice for our visit in February. You guessed it they were at Le Cellier and Kona. I couldn't have been happier. I also loved the coffee at Kona. Congrats and have a great time!

We did KOna Cafe for our Anniversary quick trip last May & YEP we are going back in a few weeks to get the filet at Kona again! We've eaten at Yachtsman steakhouse & gotten filet & I think Kona is better--especially since Yachtsman is 2 credits! We took 2 other couples there (Kona) this Jan & a couple of them had the terriyaki steak & said it was excellent too. Plus we all loved the bread/butter there! Here's a recommendation-if you like coffee, one of you can get the Kona pressed pot coffee as a dessert (it serves 2) and then split a dessert. This works for the DDP. Enjoy! I think Le Cellier is a fine choice for another TS. (if you are looking at best economical use then no, there are other restaurants that have a "higher cost per TS credit use", but we just look at is it a good meal!) Another place we have enjoyed is Boma. Debbie

I'd still select a Signature meal, use my CS credits then one more TS that you either know you really like or have always wanted to try. We really loved Narcoossee's, but I'm sure most of the Sigs could offer you a special experience. Jiko seems to be very adult based on the comments I've read. That's probably due to the uniqueness of the menu items.
