I am new to using the online system. When I made my ADR's last year they didn't have this option. Tomorrow is my 90 day mark and I am wondering which is the better way to go. There are only 2 ADR's I really want the rest are flexible. Is there really an advantage to using the onlinne system and getting up at 6 AM, an ungodly hour that I only like when it is the day I leave for the airport.

OMG!!! In a word, YES!!! The online system was soooooo easy!!! The getting up part stinks for sure, but IMO, well worth it. I was able to make 9 adr's in the span of 15-20 minutes max, and as long as you don't have to actually call for any (like Fantasmic Package or CP Package), you can go back to bed! Countless posts have fans of the online system raving about doing the same thing. Try it! You'll like it!!

If it is important to you to get what you want I suggest online.

Yesterday was my day and while I was stressed about it, it went smooth. No problems and got all 8 of my adrs and was done in 17mins.

Things I would suggest are to practice a bit tonight. Get used to the pages and where things are at. Then in the am, open multiple tabs (I used 4) and set them to the restaurants you want. Then at 6am EST refresh and start booking and adding to cart. Check out all at one time, they hold them for you for up to 20 mins in your cart.
It was really easy!

So at 6am is when I can make them online? If I am just making 1 regular reservation do I need anything to make them? My reservation number obviously. I dont have to pay in advance do I? I ask cause I work 3rd shift I was wondering if I could make mine online while at work.

"Ungodly hour"??? At least you are in the same time zone. I was up at 4:40 am my time to make those ADRs at my time 5 am Central/6 am Eastern. And I feel lucky. I read someone's post being up to make ADRs at 3 am, which means she/he was on the west coast!

Yes, you just your resort reservation number and phone number to make 90 +10 reservations. You don't have to pay in advance for most, but you may have to enter a cc number for things like CRT (I don't know if they charge or if they just need it for confirmation - you might have to call for that one). It is fast and easy. And you can see the alternatives if you can't get exactly what you want - great for "control freaks"!

Yes for me 6 AM is an "ungodly hour". I am retired and don't have to get up until 8 AM 3 days a week. The other 4 days I can sleep as long as I want. I do sympathize with those who need to get up earlier. My DH is usually up at 4:30 for work most days.

Our time would have been 5 a.m., but I opted to sleep until my alarm goes off at 6:30 and I was able to get everything I wanted including O'Hana so I was very happy... and not at all tired and crabby. :goodvibes

That would be me up at 2:40 am in the morning. I did it for 5 days!

It is worth getting up to book early. I got everything I wanted. 'Ohana Dinner and Breakfast, Le Cellier and even MM Fantasmic DP (phone in).

I didn't do multiple tabs. Just one and was finished fairly quickly-I had 9 ADR's to make.

Because of the Fantasmic DP, I had to stay up most mornings til 4 am to try to book. Then after they still hadn't released them, I was up at 4 am for 3 more days til they were finally loaded into the computer.
