Online Travel Sites.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has ever heard or used an online booking site called Travelation ( http://www.travelation.com/Engine/Itinerary.asp?SesnID=728213037). I am in the process of planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in October and this site seems to have the best prices. The problem is that I have never heard of it before. I found it on a google search but am a little hesitant about booking through an unknown site.

I know it's annoying but I have to ask - is there a reason that you'd want to use an unknown site as opposed to booking with a travel agent that will actually provide support to you?

The price difference was amazing. The cost of booking my flight/hotel was atleast $650 cheaper through this company. I have since found out that it is not a reputable site. They are apparenlty known for cancelling your bookings 1 or 2 days before your departure date. So I will be going either with my travel agent or Travelocity.

I just booked a trip thru a site called Escapes.ca and got an incredible price. They are based out of BC and they are members of the BBB. Which made me feel at ease. There is also a 1-800 number you can call to deal directly with one of their agents. I liked the fact that they are Canadian. You might want to check out their website and see what they have to offer.

Good idea. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
