If resorts or room categories are showing as unavailable, I advise to try many sceanarios. The whole system is wacky. No availability at GF with 3 in the room (occupancy 5) but available with 2 only. Had to call to add the other person. I have been checking daily for months with nothing showing up and only happened into this because I forgot to change the default people numbers.

So, it popped up as available, I notice at the end that I don't have my daughter listed. I edit the number of people and I get a message that this room type is no longer available. Did not think anything of this until this happened 3 days in a row. I eventually just booked with the 2 and called and added the last person. So, not always just the dates are affecting resort availability. I do not know if this is somehow a deliberate calculation by the system or a result of Disney's awful system.

Yes, I was using the same dates and room category. The only difference was number of people on the reservation. It would reserve with 2 but no more. This was for the lowest room category. It showed availability and would let me book higher price view categories. Note all rooms are an occupancy of 5 that I was reserving.

I've been experiencing that on and off for years. I frequently end up booking myself only then call to add my wife and son. :confused3

The web site is horrible at best. I’ve been looking at dates late Aug to check rates and when I hit check availability at all resorts I get Stitch. This is the past 2 days.

I've been getting this for the past 2 weeks. None of their "suggestions" work for me:

  • different browser (I've tried all of Chrome, IE, Firefox and on two different computers - a Mac and a PC)
  • hard refresh
  • logging in and out
  • clearing browser history.

Clearing browser history will work- for exactly 4-5 "pages", and then it's back to Stitch. (although even that isn't working today). Which means I have to clear my browser history every 5 mins and start all over again, which is insane (and it means I lose all my logins etc on other sites).

I honestly do not understand how horrible their website is. Booking a vacation/pricing something out is absolutely impossible. it's why for my June trip I ended up just going off-site-- I just couldn't handle the website any longer.

I'm trying to book another for September, looking to stay on-site, and again, the most frustrating experience. May just give up again and stay off-site.

Of all companies, you'd think they'd be able to figure this out. Is it complex? Yes, sure. But other incredibly interactive websites with very complex booking procedures do just fine.

Why would Disney invest in IT when they are almost sold-out around the year?

I have been trying for a week now to find a resort. I put in my dates and my number of adults, I get results that are available back on my search. When I go to click on a resort thats available, it says there’s nothing available?? I’m really just about done with this whole webpage. Disneyworld should be able to afford a much better IT department then they currently have. At this point, we will probably just stay offsite.

I was having issues with the website yesterday so I called...the CM couldn't help me because she said they were doing a "magical upgrade." :rolleyes2 :sad2:

I've been having that issue for awhile now. Try using incognito in Chrome or private browsing in Firefox or Edge. When I search for resorts they all show up as unavailable no matter what date I put in...In incognito or private browsing everything shows up and Stitch doesn't eat the page. :)
