Online Registration Question

I just went through the online registration for our stay at VWL for next week. I was surprised that under the section for listing the room preferences all I was presented with was two check boxes - one for close to transportation and one for ground floor. What I was hoping was to type in "near elevator". Can you not type in preferences or did I do something wrong? Thanks.

Other requests need to be made through member services.

I would imagine they have their reasons for limiting requests via online check-in. I would think some of the requests would get quite specific, and if not fully met would cause a problem when you arrive at the resort to pick-up the key. Especially those that may want to request specific room numbers, etc.

Thanks. My main concern is that we don't get the dumpster room again. We had it last year and I really didn't like it. Other than that I really don't much care where they put us. What I'm going to do is check my room number as we checkin and if one of the dumpster rooms, try to get it changed.
