Online Pet Medicine

I know this is a bit cheeky as I haven’t contributed on the boards for ages but need some quick advice and thought this was the best place.
We have a cat that has recently been diagnosed with an overactive Thyroid, many blood tests, trial tablets and lots of £££ later the vet is happy that she is stable and will issue a prescription that we can order from an online vet pharmacy only problem is, have never done this before, very nervous don't want to get 'dodgy' tablets but have been told I will save up to 50/60 % on the price. As this is ongoing it has to be an option. Has anybody any recommendations/experience with an online vets/meds supplier?? Other problem is time, need to have them by Tuesday as we go to N.Y on Weds and she goes to a cattery…any advice please

Debbie, any tabs you get online will be fine I am sure, you can always get a supply from your own vet as well as a prescription so you give yourself time,wanted to add, you will have to take along your cat every 3 months for a check so they can prescribe, I wonder if they will charge a big fee for this since you are not buying tabs from your vet. good luck with cat and hols.

I obtained the prescription from the vet, placed the order and sent a scanned copy via email. Within 2 hours I got a dispatch notification and I had his tablets the next day. I wouldn't hesitate in using them again. Hope this helps

Thank you for your replies, I ordered from Petmeds at lunch time and should have them by Saturday at the latest... just a little scary the first time, didn't want to get it wrong. Feel confident that all will be fine, soooo can now relax and look forward to hols.
