online hotel check in

Hey,

As a Canadian I know that I need to check in at my Disney hotel desk no matter what to get my magicbands, right?

So is there any advantage to online check in?
I sent a room request through Touring Plans but not sure if I need to do online check in to make it work

Any pros and cons to doing online check in if I have to go to hotel desk anyways?

Sometimes the line for the online check in guests is shorter. It will take a little less time as they already have your info. Also it give you one other area to request your preferences (not that it may make much difference)
