Online Groups - Does anyone know?

I used to log into a facebook-like site where you could type in a group and get updates from that group. Does anyone know what that site is? I've completely forgotten what it was called, and I want to be able to catch up with some people in a particular group. Thanks.

yahoo has that, I belong to a few groups. Go their wesite and look for category titled "groups"

We use Windows Live Groups... it provides several features better than Yahoo or Google Groups.
