Online Giveaways? Anyone ever get Anything

I am getting SOOOO tired of sites that have banners which read "Swat the Bug get a FREE PS 3"/Hit the teacher with a Spit Ball get a FREE Ipod Video"Shoot the Robber get a FREE computer"

Are these legit things?...Isnt this false advertising? It just frustrated me so much....What the porpuse of them? Who is responsible for them? Has anyone actually ever gotten anything for free from them?

No matter where you click in that box you will be taken to another site where you will have to complete a survey or buy something (similar to freeipods but I dunno if any of these are legit like that is).

My advice: don't do them. They probably put spyware on your system and you'll end up with a ton of spam if you give them your email address.
