Online dining

Has anyone used the online dining reservation system? Does it recognize the DVC reservation? Is this better or should I just call the "old fashioned" way?

Love it!! Used it yesterday afternoon at our 90 day mark. Got every ADR I wanted including WCC at WL on Halloween before the MNSSHP. I was not able to book the Fantasmic Dinner Package at the Brown Derby on line....so I called to do it....no wait (amazing)....and no availablity!! Nada, nothing---regular ADRs or Package and this was for 11/01. The CM was shocked and checked her roster 3 times.

Went on to the online site at 8 p.m. and booked Brown Derby on 11/01 at 5:05 p.m. Imagine that.....I had a really good experience and it was easy.

When you go on line to book it retrieves your reservation number (ours is a DVC trip) then you check the box that asks if you want to associate those ADRs with that reservation. Worked like a charm. I was even able to secure Ca Grill with a cc.

Thanks for the insights. Glad to hear that they will recognize a DVC reservation. Can't wait to to to MSSH on 11/1.

My understanding is that the Fantasmic package cannot be booked online at this time.

Keep calling if you want the dinner package - I don't think they always load the packages before the 90 day mark. Since the November hours haven't been posted yet, it's possible that they haven't even really decided what nights Fantasmic will be offered in November.
