Has anyone ever heard of Western Governors University? This is an on-line college that specializes in Degrees in Education. I am thinking of getting my masters in science education going this route. Would anyone have any info about this particular institution or just any opinions on past experiences with online course work?

I have never heard of that school before. Just be careful with online schools. Some Online universities are not accredited in your state. Which basically means that your degree that you do earn could me nothing if you go back to get your Doctorine. I would do a lot of research before deciding to go with an online university.

Have you thought of a state university that has an online Master's program? I don't know where you are, but I know of at least 3 of the local universities here have complete online Masters in Education programs. UTA, UNT, and TWU.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. :(

I've never heard of the school you're looking in to, but I have taken online couses. I recieved my CA teaching credential doing mostly online courses and I really liked it. My only other option was to take night classes, and I know I'm just not focused enough for that. The final price tag was a large one, but hopefully it will be worth it in the long run! Good luck.

I did check into the state accepting this degree and NH recognizes this on-line university. Anyone else with any experiences? Thanks!
