Online checkin with multiple staterooms

We have four staterooms. They are linked, so it worked easily for booking excursions. How does it work for online checkin? Can one person do it and get the same PAT? Any suggestions?

You will have to check in each stateroom separately.

We did it with 3 staterooms and 2 people. I checked in my family of 4 in one stateroom while my sister checked in her and her husband in their stateroom and then (because she finished faster) she moved on to checking in my parents in their stateroom.

There are a few parts that you only have to do once. For example, if you have kids, you can complete the paperwork on which adults across all of the staterooms are allowed to take which kids across all of the staterooms off the ship or signed in and out of the kids club. Same with onboard accounts. If one credit card is paying for the charging privileges of people in multiple staterooms, that part only needs to be done once.

If you have multiple PATs but you're linked together, you'll probably be allowed to board all at once at the earlier time in my experience, but it's not guaranteed and seems to vary by port. We've done it twice in Miami in the last five months and they were perfectly accommodating letting all of us in at the earlier time.

You're not assigned a PAT, you're given a few to choose from.

If your PATs are different, talk to them and ask if it would be okay for you to all arrive at the earlier time. You're definitely okay all arriving at the later time.

We are all staying at the hotel together in Vancouver and will be walking to the port. Based on your comments, I think I will select the earliest time for each one as I upload the information, then have us go at the latest time. Thank you!
